App Overview

Drone Zone
The zone for everything drones.

Drone zone is an app for anyone who has an interest in drones.

The app has photos, videos, and the specs for some of the most popular hobby, commercial, and military drones.

With our app you can:

  • View some of the most popular drones on the market, like the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+, or the A.R. Drone.

  • Make purchasing decisions based on our specs for each drone.

  • View photos and videos of each drone.

  • Read the most recent and most popular drone news.

  • Figure out what the regulations are by viewing the FAA Website.

The Drone Zone app brings all of the most popular drones to the app owner. It allows them to see the features and specifications of each drone, and make informed purchasing decisions. After purchasing a drone, the app user can use the "click and share" feature to take a picture of their drone and allow other app users to see it. App owners can also use the FAA regulations page to see what their flight restrictions and parameters are. After flying, the app owner can then go to the RSS drone news feed to see if they are missing any new drones or technology.

The user is downloading an app that will help them understand what drones are, and what they can be used for. The app will include profiles from some of the most popular and useful drones currently on the market.

The app does not have any undocumented or hidden features.


  • Who is the target audience for this app?
The target audience for the app is anyone that wants to learn about drones, and may be interested in purchasing a drone or may use drones for their job.

  • What is the need this app is meeting for that audience?
The app is giving users information in a central location, if users did not have this app, they would spend countless hours scouring the internet to gain the information that is inside this app. The information includes, profiles of drones, pictures, youtube videos, FAA drone regulations.

Yes, our app works as advertised.

No, it provides information on drones and information about different types of drones.

No, it is a informational center strictly for drones and FAA regulations.
