Summary Reflection of the Year


The most important thing that I've learned this year is that you should never judge anyone by the country they come from. I've learned that global collaboration is not as easy as it sounds. It's actually really difficult, because most people working together on these projects are from different countries. It's difficult to communicate because you are editing and working on the wiki at different times. The most interesting new technology that I've learned about is Open Sim. I thought it was really interesting to have an avatar and be able to edit it and do different things with it. I really enjoyed working in elluminate, Open Sim, and working with review games. I think students should be taught how to use technology correctly so they will be safer on the internet. I think it would really help them because if they know how to use it, they might get into less trouble. They might stop putting personnel information or inappropriate pictures if they knew what is out there.

My video was called Wired but Disconnected and it was meant to be similar to a music video. I found a song on CC Mixter and downloaded it. I used a few friends from my class to lip-sync to the music in front of a green screen.

I studied Globalization and Ousourcing. Globalization and Outsourcing is when people work with each other all around the world. They are able to send each other documents or videos from different countries and collaborate with each other.

My Invention
