We will show the 5th grade how to make a holiday card with Scratch.

Introduction and Hook

What will be your "hook" for today?
There will be candy sitting on the desk in front of all the computers for the children to eat.
Who will welcome students: Woody and MicahWhat will be the instructions: How to make a Christmas card using scratchWhat will be on the board: The projector will be on to show the kids how to use ScratchWho will be "running" the computer: Matt and DruWhat will be on the student computers: ScratchWill the student computers be logged in with a certain ID? The 10th grader will log in as themself and the student will use that.

During Class

List what will be done in class -- list the approximate amount of time on each (if you know).
When the 5th grade comes in, we will already have Scratch pulled up.
We will show them tutorials about how to make a holiday card.
We will then let them try to make their holiday card.
If they finish the cards early, we will let them mess around with it and play/create what they want.


Ending Class

What time will you start wrapping up class?About 10:55 we will tell them that it is almost time to leave, so they should finish up and get ready to go back to class.
