Blogging

Blog Post #1:http://digiteen.ning.com/profiles/blogs/saving-lively-1
Why this exemplifies my best work: This post is all about us really trying to get a point through to other people around the world.

Blog Post #2:http://digiteen.ning.com/profiles/blogs/1990934:BlogPost:8844
Why this exemplifies my best work: This is a blog post that I did on my own. I had to help my teacher with putting up the green screen rigging and I thought it was pretty complicated so I just decided to write about it and tell everyone.

Blog Post #3:http://digiteen.ning.com/profiles/blogs/1990934:BlogPost:10782
Why this exemplifies my best work: This exemplifies my best work because it is all about me and it is probably my favorite one from this year.

Wikis and Collaboration

Wiki #1 - Lesson Wiki - We have been working with people around the world trying to figure out what and how we could most effectively get the word out about this wiki. On this wiki we worked with kids our age from around the world to make a document that tells all about digital health and wellness. The only problem that we had was that people would copywrite some of it and it would get really irritating. With a little communication though, we fixed that problem and got our point through just fine.

Wiki #2 - International Wiki Collaboration -We have also been using a wiki to communicate with the other people in our class. Most of the time we will work on our projects for that day and then find out what our classmates would like to know and see changed.

Digiteen Dream Team

The Digiteen Dream Team has done so much. I have worked on the action wikiand our book, Technocat. The book was one of the hardest things to do because unlike our English class, we could not have any errors. With the help from a few friends though, the book looks great and should be a huge sucess. I have also worked on reactiongrid. We are now just helping other people with their random projects. Which is much harder because it is no longer your vision that you are bringing into being, and if you don't get it right they may not like what you made.

I have also protested Google. That was really frustrating because we were doing all that we could to save Lively and were not getting anywhere. We made a bunch of vidoes and a few of them got really big, but about the time they started getting really recognized.... They shut Lively down. We were all very sad. Even if it did get shut down though, we found something MUCH better. Reactiongrid. We finished out most of the year working on there and just helping people with there islands and teaching them about digital citizenship during that process.
