What is Nanotechnology?
is a field of science and technology covering a broad range of topics. Nanotechnology was perfected in 1980 by Eric Drexler. The main goal of nanotechnology is the control of matter on a scale of smaller than one micrometer ( one billionth of a meter ), as well as the making of devices on this same length scale similar to a computer using the binary system ( 1's & 0's ). Nanotechnology deals with matter in the most infinitesimal form (atoms & molecules). Nanotechnology incorporates the fields of science, chemistry, physics, and biology.
