App Overview

This app is able to download on your IOS devices.
Our app is a dictionary app for people who look to learn new words with a sense of humor. We provide three sections of words: modern words, southern words, and funny words. We believe that with these three very different sections, everyone would get everything they need and even more. We especially strive to make our app very "relatable" with our age group. There are also many videos and pictures of the words we define to give the user a clear image in their mind.
The first section we feature, the modern words, is filled with words added to the English dictionary just recently and words the old dictionaries will not have. Words like "selfie" and "bling" are included in this section. We make the words as recent as possible, and once a word is at least ten years old we take it out of the list.
The next section is the southern words, or as we like to call it, the southern slang. Since we live in Southern Georgia, we like to include our mother tongue in this app. The target audience for this section is the people living in the city to somewhat learn our culture here and how we talk. It just might convince the city folks to come down.
The last section we have is the funny words section. This is the most humorous section because it is basically listing the funny words out there in the dictionary. It might be words with an interesting definition or words that sound nothing like their definition.

  • What is my user getting by downloading this app?
A fun, friendly dictionary app where we have simplified words for kids who do not understand old school dictionaries.

  • Does your app have undocumented or hidden features?

  • Who is the target audience for this app?
It is friendly for all ages, but mostly targeted for teenagers since we are teenagers ourselves and we believe there is a special understanding.

  • What is the need this app is meeting for that audience?
